Train as a Civil and Commercial Mediator

Build the practical skills, professional knowledge and confidence to conduct civil and commercial mediation effectively and impartially.

This CMC Accredited Civil and Commercial Mediation Foundation Course is delivered live online over five Saturdays. You will learn through focused teaching, trainer demonstrations, realistic case studies, practical exercises, mediation role plays and individual feedback.

Dates: Saturdays 7, 14, 21 and 28 November and 5 December 2026
Time: 9.00 am to 6.00 pm
Delivery: Live online through Zoom

The course covers the mediation process, the mediator’s role, ethics, communication, questioning, reframing, negotiation, private meetings, reality testing, managing difficult conversations and recording agreed outcomes.

Participants complete written and practical assessments, including an assessed mediation role play.

The course is suitable for legal and business professionals, consultants, advisers, dispute resolution practitioners and anyone wishing to begin a career in mediation. No previous mediation experience is required.
